Requirements

PHP version 5.3.6 or higher. The PDO_MYSQL PHP Package. MySQL version 5.0 or higher. The mod_rewrite Apache module / ngx_http_rewrite_module / ISAPI_Rewrite IIS module / IIS7+. The mod_headers module is needed if you run Carbon Forum on Apache HTTP Server.

Install

Ensure that the entire directory are writable. Open http://www.yourdomain.com/install and install. Open the Forum, and register. The first registered users will become administrators.

Upgrade

Backup files( /upload/* ) and databases. Delete all files except /upload/*, and upload the new version files that extract from the the latest vesion packet. Ensure that the entire directory are writable. Open http://www.yourdomain.com/update and update.
