This is a fork of Craig Thomson's jQuery plugin qTip. Original version available at:

Craig is also working on a new version featuring jQuery UI styling integration and other enhancements. This is NOT that version, but a fork of the original qtip 1.0.0-rc3

Installation

This script requires jQuery 1.3.2 which is not included in this package.

You can either include the minified version of the script in your site using:

<script src="jquery.qtip-1.0.0-rc3-dm-min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Or you can include the uncompressed version along with the preload plugin:

<script src="jquery.qtip-1.0.0-rc3-dm.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="jquery.qtip.preload.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

The compressed version contains the preload script just to keep your js calls to a minimum.

Upgraded the script to work with jQuery 1.4 Included various fixes from Craig for IE 8 as well as fixed some IE 8 bugs. (That I didn't add to the changelog. )

Fixed a bug, where the script was not accepting:

position: { adjust: { scroll: false } }

or position: { adjust: { resize: false } } These options now work correctly.

Integrated Craig's image preload function into this version of the script. Note: Script now requires the jquery.preload.js plugin. Added minified version of the script which includes the preload plugin.

Added Craig's opacity fix for to the afterShow function to prevent the tip opacity being set wrong when tip drawing is interrupted.

Raised the base z-index to a higher number to prevent z-index conflicts.

Added functionality so that unfocus can be used with other hide actions, i.e.

hide: {when: {event:'mouseout unfocus'}, fixed: true, delay: 500 }
